Who is responsible for your data
This website is run by Anna Kurilets, a freelance UI/UX designer and Framer developer based in Europe. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Anna Kurilets is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What data I collect and why
Contact form. When you send the form, I receive the name, email address, link and message you enter, and the date and time of submission. I use this data for one purpose only: to answer your message and discuss a possible project with you.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, when you ask about a project or a quote. For all other enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in answering messages sent to me.
You are not obliged to provide this data, but without a way to reach you I cannot reply. The checkbox under the form confirms that you have read this policy.
Email. If you write to me directly, I process your name, email address and the content of your message for the same purpose and on the same legal bases.
Site statistics. This site is built and hosted on Framer. Framer Analytics shows me aggregate numbers such as page views, referrers, countries and device types. According to Framer, it does not use cookies, does not create persistent identifiers, and counts unique visitors by hashing the IP address and browser data with a secret that is deleted every day. I do not see data that identifies you.
I do not use your data for marketing, do not sell it, and do not make automated decisions or profiles based on it.
Who receives your data, where it is stored and for how long
Two service providers process your data on my behalf:
Framer B.V., Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Framer hosts this site and processes form submissions. Framer runs on Amazon Web Services, on servers in the United States.
Google LLC, United States. My mailbox is hosted by Google. Form submissions and your emails are delivered to it and stored there.
Amazon Web Services and Google LLC are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data transferred to the United States. No other third party receives your data unless the law requires me to disclose it.
How long I keep your data:
Enquiries that do not lead to a project: 12 months after my last reply, then deleted.
Projects: for the duration of the project, and afterwards for as long as invoicing, accounting and tax rules require me to keep records.
You can ask me to delete your data earlier at any time, unless a legal obligation requires me to keep it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
access the personal data I hold about you and receive a copy of it
have inaccurate data corrected
have your data erased
restrict how I process it
receive the data you gave me in a structured, machine-readable format
object to processing that is based on my legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, write to kurilecanna@gmail.com. I will reply within one month. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the EU country where you live.
Cookies, analytics and external links
This site does not set cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking and does not use third-party analytics. Framer Analytics, described above, works without cookies. Your browser may store technical data that the pages need to work. It is not used to identify you.
Links on this site lead to external services, among them ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Grok, LinkedIn, Behance and Upwork. They open in a new tab. Each service has its own privacy policy and terms, and I have no control over what it collects once you are there.
The Ask section and AI buttons
The AI buttons open an assistant of your choice in a new tab and hand it a short text about me that I wrote. If you type a question, it is added to that text. Your browser sends the text directly to the assistant you picked. This site does not store it or send it anywhere else, and I do not see what you ask.
The answers are generated by those assistants, not by me. They may be incomplete or inaccurate, and they are not offers, quotes or commitments on my part. Before you make any decision, check the facts with me directly.
Content and copyright
Unless stated otherwise, the texts, visuals, case studies and code on this site are the work of Anna Kurilets and are protected by copyright. Client names, logos, products and screenshots shown in the case studies belong to their owners and appear here to document my work. You may not copy, publish or reuse any part of this site without written permission.
Use of the site
The site is provided as it is, for information about my work. I try to keep it accurate and available, but I do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions, and I am not liable for any loss arising from its use, to the extent the law allows. I am not responsible for the content of external sites linked from here. Nothing on this site is a binding offer: scope, price and dates are agreed in writing for each project.
Changes
I may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version.
